I Love You This Much Card Idea – Easy Card Idea for Kids

The next time you have a special occasion coming up, why not make this I Love You This Much card idea with your kids. It’s the perfect card for kids to make and show how much they love someone, and it’ll be a real surprise when that special someone opens this card.

Traditionally, this ‘I Love You This Much’ card is suited to Mothers Day and Fathers Day, but could easily be used for Birthdays too. It’s such an easy card idea for kids and they will enjoy being hands-on when making it.

And you could even make one with them every year and, you’ll appreciate the difference in the size of their growing hands over the years. It could be a nice keepsake if you start early enough.

Anyway, let’s get started.

‘I Love You This Much’ Card Idea

First, let’s get everything ready so you can leave the little ones to get busy and avoid all those interruptions.

Skill Level – Easy

Time Required – 15 minutes

What you will need

• Colored construction card
• White construction paper
• Maker
• Glue
• Scissors

Step 1

First, trace out your child’s hands on a piece of construction card.

Step 2

Next, cut out the hands. This will form the front and back of your card.

Step 3

The cut a length of paper 10in x 1 1/2in then concertina fold at 1in intervals so you have 10 sections.

Step 4

Leave the first square and write ‘This Much’ on the folded paper.

Step 5

Turn your hands face down so the left hand has the thumb on the right side and write ‘I Love You’.

Step 6

Next center the first square of the folded paper on the front hand and glue. Then fold up your message and glue to the back of the hand. By folding the message up you can align the 2 hands together.
