If you’re looking for a Fathers Day Card Idea this year then why not make this cool Shirt and Tie Fathers Day Card. It’s really easy to make and will be 100 times better than anything you’ll buy at the store.
And because you’ve made it yourself, you can decorate the tie just like the one you Dad loves to wear. I bet it’s a daggy tie too, just like all Dad’s seem to wear which makes this card even more special if you can replicate the design.
But if your Dad doesn’t normally wear a tie, consider writing messages of love all over it as you can never say ‘I Love You’ enough on Fathers Day.
Anyway, let’s get started and if you get stuck just watch the step-by-step video at the end of this tutorial.
How to Make a Shirt and Tie Fathers Day Card
First, let’s get everything ready so you can leave the little ones to get busy and avoid all those interruptions.
Skill Level – Easy
Time Required – 15 minutes
What you will need
Step 1
First, fold the A4 construction card in half. Markdown from the top of the card 1 3/4in then cut into the center 1 in. Open the card and on the back page of the card cut all the way across and remove.
Step 2
Next, fold the cut strips on the front of the card in towards the middle of the card forming the shirt collar.
Step 3
Then using your scrap of paper cut out a tie and pocket and decorate before gluing them on the card.
Step 4
Once you have finished decorating the tie and pocket it’s now time to glue to the front of the card. Also, add some glue the ends of the collar to hold it all into place.
Step 5
Now all you have to do is add your special message and your card is ready to go.
