How to Make a Pom Pom Bunny

Easy to Make Pom Pom BunnyFirst, let’s get everything ready so you can leave the little ones to get busy and avoid all those interruptions.

Skill Level – Easy

Time Required – 15 minutes

What you will need

  • Pom Poms different sizes
  • Googly eyes
  • Felt sheets – pink and white
  • Glue
  • Fishing line
  • Small bead
  • Scissors

Step 1

First, using a scrap of your pint felt sheet cut out the base for your pom pom bunny in the shape of feet.  I found cutting one piece for the base but forming the feet works best as the pom poms are more stable when you start gluing.  Glue the larger pom pom to the base so you can just see the feet popping out of the bottom.

Step 1 - cut feet

Step 2

Next, glue the smaller pom pom to the top of the body and add a couple of googly eyes to the head. A toothpick or matchstick is handy when adding the eyes if you have big fingers.

Step 2 - glue head

Step 3

Then cut 3 lengths of fishing line approx 1in long for the whiskers and glue to the front of the face. Add a little bead for the nose.

Step 3 - glue whiskers

Step 4

Next using the white felt sheet cut 2 ears. With the pink felt sheets cut a smaller shape for the inside of the ear.  Glue to the top of the head.

Step 4 - glue ears

Step 5

Lastly, glue a little pom pom to the back of your bunny for it’s fluffy tail and you have finished making your Pom Pom Bunny.
