This cute Toilet Paper Roll House was a quick easy project to make with the kids. They had lots of fun designing their houses and then playing with them with their Shopkins.  All you need is a few things from your craft kit and your excess toilet paper rolls for few hours of fun.

So let’s get started.

How to Make Toilet Paper Roll House

First, let’s get everything ready so you can leave the little ones to get busy and avoid all those interruptions.

Skill Level – EASY

Time Required – 10 minutes

What you will need

  • Toilet paper rolls
  • Colored paint
  • Mini patty pan cases
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Markers

Step 1

First of all you will need to cut a door so your kids can use them for their little toys.  For a door that opens and closes cut up and across to the desired door size and fold back.

Step 2

Now it’s time for your child to design their Toilet Paper Roll House.  They can leave the toilet roll natural or they may like to paint it. Then draw on some windows either using a marker, or why not paint on the windows. The windows could be round, rectangular or square, let your child’s creative juices flow. Don’t forget to paint the door so it pops out.

Step 3

When the paint has dried and you are ready for the roof. Put a thin line of glue at the top of the toilet roll and gently place your chosen mini patty pan on top.

Step 4

There you have it. Your very own Toilet Paper Roll House.  It was so easy maybe you have time to create a whole village of colorful houses for you child to play with.
